Preserving Cultural Heritage

It is important to support global heritage and we want to do our part in preserving cultures worldwide.

This is why, for every print sold, we will donate 10% to UNESCO Heritage Fund. Not only that, but simply by purchasing a print it helps preserve a piece of the culture, even though it might be thousands of kilometres away. In an increasingly globalised and modern world, access to other cultures is becoming easier.

However, this has also led to fast and quick methods of doing things, while older traditions deteriorate or become replaced. The commodification of tradition also means that several crafts and other intangible aspects of culture (like song) are becoming more and more rare. People are losing touch with traditions and artisans have a much harder time to make a living from their craft. While we can’t replace these easily, we can contribute to their preservation through our prints.
